All gaming talk goes here, show us what you're currently playing! Whether its a board game, Dungeons and Dragons / another TTRPG system, trading card games or video games feel free to share it here and blab about what you're doing! We'd love to see it!

I'm currently playing Hanafuda more often than ever before with a digital version of the game, but I want some traditional cards and would like to start a Denton Hanafuda Club honestly. It's such a fun Japanese card game, the FIRST game that Nintendo ever released over a hundred years ago!

Talk books, fanfic, comics, stories of any length, and magazines / zines here. Anything literature or research based reading is welcome to be shared here!

What are you reading??

My current read is QUEERCORE: An Oral History of the homocore, queercore, and feminist zine scene of the 60's - 2000's. The roots of Riot Grrrl are within this book, along with the first queer zines like Homocore and J.D.'s by multiple different people including Kathleen Hanna of Bikini Kill contributing to the greater DIY punk culture that came before our time. We owe everything to these people for what we call the zine scene today is built upon their shoulders. I'm learning a lot about self-publishers way before me and queer revolutionaries of media creation...it's great. I'm using this for my Thesis I'm writing on 'zines and self-publishing are a means of liberating the self'

So... what are YOU reading??

What are you currently working on?

Think of this thread like a nice PARKING SPACE for your creative WIPs to be posted into so your friends and fellow students can check it out and comment! Art, writing, zine-making, painting, poetry, any art form you do outside of the class work show us your stopping point of the day here!

Engage with some other students here posting their WIPs for personal or commissioned work outside of the class projects!

Please keep class project WIPs in your individual Student Threads for us to check out!

Here's some WIPs I never finished to kick us off:

A unicorn anthro standing on top of a crumbling castletop with the LGBTQ Progress Pride flag that is tattered and worn but still flying. It's the exact same pose from One Piece when Luffy stands with his jolly roger during a big fight.
